However, for the non-experts, the beauty stores have enough variety of brushes to confuse. Makeup brushes can be expensive so must be a wise buy. So how many brushes do you really need? TIP 2: Keep It Clean - Synthetic brushes can be washed with regular shampoo and warm water. For natural brushes use a brush cleaner like Sephora Purifying Brush Shampoo ($6 at Sephora). Clean you brushes at least once a week. Always dry them lying flat on a surface.

Knowledgeable and interesting post on the brushes. My brushes are all sitting comfortably in my drawer and its time to bring out and use them.
